I'm not understanding your question. If however your question is in regards to procrit this product is a blood stimulant. It stimulates the bone marrow to release red blood cells. This process takes a few days to work as red cells start of in simplest terms baby red cells which then mature into mature red blood cells. Hope this helps.

Procrit

Procrit is a fairly expensive medication. It's a shame to see it go to waste, but legally, without a written prescription, it can not be given to someone else to be used. You should first contact the pharmacy/insurance company that is supplying the medication and let them know that further shipments are no longer needed. You might want to ask them what they would like you to do with the extra doses you have already received. Most likely, if they don't want them back (or can't take them back), you will need to dispose of them. Try calling the physician who originally prescribed the Procrit and see if they would dispose of these doses for you. All doctor's offices have the capability of handling this task. Most likely, they will place it in with the other biohazard material from their office.
