This is true however there is nothing that can be done to prevent receiving the treatment for Rabies as it is given after the fact. However, by keeping our Tetanus Booster's up to date we can avoid the use of the Immune Globulin fraction in this case.

My 4 year old son just cut his eye and had recieved stitches. The doctor told me he should get a tetanus shot. I was informed that tetanus shots for toddlers all have blood fractions, is this true? Only adults have the option of blood fractions or not, true?
