A number of members of Noblood have received spam email as shown in the attachment.
Headers have obviously been spoofed and some members replies regarding this spam have been sent to my email address, e.g.

Today I received an invitation from someone to join her Friendster network.
I dont't remember asking to share my personal details with a third party when I join NoBlood.
Can you check that Friendster has not actualy hacked your address book...

Presumably Noblood does not provide details of email addresses to 3rd parties?

Yes, someone appears to have 'spoofed' an admin email address in order to send a message to the subscribers of the NoBlood Bulletin. Doing so did not grant them access to the list itself. As a reminder to all, we do NOT share our subscriber list to 3rd parties.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the problem. In either case, a user can unsubscribe to the list at any time.

Again, thank you for your patience regarding this matter.
