I am grateful for the NoBlood Web site for the knowledge and experience that is available to surgeons and all health care professionals to enable them to heed patients right to refuse transfusions to respect their moral or religious beliefs or their fear of contracting diseases by transfusions. Having quick access to references and detailed explanations of bloodless procedures is very handy. It is also convenient for directing others to information regarding bloodless health care.

My personal view is not dictated by any religious organization and I am not a member of any group however my deep respect for the sacred aspect of blood and belief in God's word results in total refusal of blood transfusions. Having said this I am also aware of the dangers of blood transfusions and diseases that can still be transmitted. This alone is sufficient for surgeons to question and research advanced medical techniques and for patients to opt for those more knowledgeable physicians. For the benefit of all religious beliefs forced the medical world to find new and safer methods.
My search for a kidney transplant surgeon gave me the opportunity to come across many reputable health care professionals deeply concerned for their patients but unaware bloodless techniques represented a plus for their practice.
