A court order demand by doctors will backfire. Patients who have a cancer tumor will be loathe to let a surgeon operate in the first instance if it means once the scalpel touches them they must submit to doctor and hospital dictates.
The strength of their conviction that she had a 98% chance of life guaranteed was undermined when they would not sign the husbands form to guarantee she would live. (smart move on his part).
