SEOUL, Sept. 29 (Yonhap) -- Two South Korean women have been infected with the AIDS virus after receiving a transfusion of HIV-tainted blood, South Korean Red Cross confirmed Thursday.
The unidentified women, both in their 30s, caught the potentially lethal virus through transfusion of blood donated by a 23-year-old man, identified only by his surname Kim, in August 2003, according to the Red Cross.
