HOSPITALS and other health intitutions which transfuse patients with HIV-infected blood in Lagos State will henceforth be liable to a fine of N500,000 for first-time offenders and N2 million in subsequent cases, while individuals who commit the same offence will have to contend with a fine of N100,000 with two years imprisonment for first-time offenders, and N500,00 with four years imprisonment for subsequent . . . http://allafrica.com/stories/200504220355.html
