Kresha

Greetings NoBlood,
My name is Kresha. I am a nursing student in Pennsylvania. I am doing a research paper about non-blood medical management. I happened upon this site while doing research. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I had to have a complete colectomy with ileostomy 3 years ago. I was severly anemic at the time. I found surgeons willing to accomodate my religious stand on blood transfusions. Today I am healthy without the ileostomy, and alive(obviously) without the transfusions!
Glad to be a member,
Kresha

Nice to meet a fellow nursing student! When do you graduate? Are you going for your RN? I will be done in December.

KRESHA, IT IS VERY UNUSUAL THAT YOU CAN SPEAK FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE ABOUT BLOODLESS SURGURY. I HOPE THAT YOU FIND MORE INFO (THIS SITE HAS PLENTY, JUST LOOK THRU ALL THE POSTS) AND ARE ABLE TO HELP OTHERS UNDERSTAND THE REASONS WHY IT IS NOT RIGHT TO TAKE BLOOD INTO OUR BODIES.

HELLO, I AM A WITNESS IN CALIFORNIA ATTEMPTING TO ASSIST ANOTHER SISTER IN OLTON, TEXAS. HER DAUGHTER HAS PULOMARY ARTREIA. A DALLAS, TX. OBTAINED A COURT ORDER TO USE BLOOD DURING THE INFANTS SURGERY. THE CHILD NEEDS 2 MORE BEFORE SHE IS 3 OR 4, SO FAR NO ONE WILL ATTEMPT THE SURGERY IN DALLAS. THE LAISON COMMITEE IN DALLAS SAYS THEY HAVE DONE ALL THEY CAN DO. I SUGGESTED SHE LOOK FOR HELP IN HOUSTON, TEXAS.
