I'm very excited to see noblood.org back and better than before. I am not in the health-care industry -- I am just one of the many consumers.

I am a Jehovah's Witness.

I recall the old site really helped my research when it was time for my mother to go through a hernia operation several years ago. I walked into the hospital informed and ready to help my mother speak when she was unable to. Along with her DPA form and many secular articles, I was ready. I spoke with doctors, nurses and was able to walk into her pre-op room with her to make sure that the anesthesiologist was sure about my mother's treatment possibilities.

Although my father is not a Jehovah's Witness -- he respects God's law on blood and it's proper place. He has had many successful surgeries that did NOT include blood -- one being a hip replacement and one being a double-bypass.

This site will be a blessing to many!

Hi there Red -- I was raised in the truth, if you will -- and I dedicated and then symbolized that dedication by baptism on December 5, 1981.

How about you?

HELLO, CHRISTINA AND RED, MY NAME IS PAUL AND I AM ALSO A SERVANT OF JEHOVAH. FUNNY TO SAY THIS, BUT MY INDEPENDANCE DAY (FROM THE WORLD) WAS 5 YEARS AGO TODAY. I FOUND THIS SIGHT BY SEARCHING 'BLOODLESS'. I HAVE A 12 Y.O. SON WHO WAS BORN WITH HEART DISEASE. I HAVE NOT READ MUCH OF THIS SIGHT YET, BUT HOPE TO FIND MORE INFO ON BLOODLESS SURGURY. PATRICK WILL HAVE AN ARTIFICIAL VALVE PUT IN SOMETIME IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS AND I WANT TO BE ARMED WITH ALL THE INFO I CAN SO I CAN TAKE A STAND WITH HIS MOTHER AND DOCTORS. IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE INFO, LET ME KNOW THRU THIS POST OR MY E-MAIL. PARTSPAUL

Hello PartsPaul -- Glad you found this site. It's wonderful to have this kind of information at our fingertips.

I wish you all the best with your son. Bloodless surgery is possible. You just have to convince ones that are ignorant to other and better means of treatment. But with Jehovah's help, the help of wonderful brothers in the HLC and this site -- it is easier.

My father who is not a Witness had at 3 major operations (hip replacement, which is very bloody; double-bypass and recently a hernia operation) all without blood. His recovery time was faster compared to those that were in similar situations at the hospital at the same time who DID take blood. My father is a walking witness although he isn't one ... yet

BLOODLESS

HELLO, I AM A WITNESS IN CALIFORNIA ATTEMPTING TO ASSIST ANOTHER SISTER IN OLTON, TEXAS. HER DAUGHTER HAS PULMON ARY ARTRESIA. A DALLAS, TX. OBTAINED A COURT ORDER TO USE BLOOD DURING THE INFANTS FIRST SURGERY. THE CHILD NEEDS 2 MORE BEFORE SHE IS 3 OR 4, SO FAR NO ONE WILL ATTEMPT THE SURGERY IN DALLAS. THE LAISON COMMITEE IN DALLAS SAYS THEY HAVE DONE ALL THEY CAN DO. I SUGGESTED SHE LOOK FOR HELP IN HOUSTON, TEXAS.
JL.
