No blood in the UK

Hi everyone, I think this is a great site, but does anyone know if there is any similar facility in England. I'm particularly interested in finding out if there is a contact directory for non-blood sympathetic physicians around the UK?
Thanks
Rach

I just came across a UK journal at this link: http://www.uktransplant.org.uk/ukt/n...bulletin38.pdf on page 15 talks about a hospital that practices bloodless surgery. It is St. James University Hospital located in Leeds. Apparently, according to the article at the link above, they've performed many successful bloodless renal and liver transplants.

The number I found on the St. James University Hospital is (0113) 262 3404. Maybe if you call them they can give you up-to-date information on if their surgical team still practices bloodless and if not, where are the bloodless doctors located if they moved on to another hospital. I am interested in finding out too for when I travel there.

Kindest regards,
Sharon

St.Thomas' Hospital in London has links with the Jehovah's group and practices bloodless surgery in certain specialities.
