Hi ! I am not involved in the development of the noblood site, nor am I a medical professional. I am a medical consumer, however, and therefore VERY interested in the trend towards abandoning treatment by blood transfusion.

I had a medical problem a few years ago. Surgery was recommended, including the use of blood. I knew that my condition was based on a hormone imbalance and reasoned that restoring my balance would be better than surgery and transfusion. It took a while to find a doctor who was willing to listen to my concerns and opinions. Thankfully, one OB-GYN with an obnoxious bedside manner agreed, and prescribed a course of birth control pills and a simplified diet plan. No only did the hemorrhaging stop with 3 days, but the long term benefits included a delay in the progression of diabetes !!!

Please continue your work. I will generally be an interested onlooker......... until I need your expertise !!!! You workers in the field of blood conservation, blood avoidance, etc. - your efforts are very much appreciated by those of us who have benefited already. Your efforts can only serve to help consumers. I see no downside to your efforts at all.

Congratulations and thank you.
