Local knowledge: In the Puget Sound area (western Washington state) cryoprecipitate is re-suspended in plasma (Puget Sound Blood Center). We are told that around the country "cryo" is re-suspended in normal saline...a "conscience matter" for Jehovah's Witnesses. If you live in Western Washington, you may explicitly request "cryo in normal saline" (available by special order within an reasonable timeframe) if you accept "minor fractions of blood."
