Is anybody out there?

Hi! My name is Sharon. People have a nickname for me at work and call me “Smiles” because I like to smile a lot. I work part time for a Company that cleans the environment I work as a Public Relations Representative. But the projects I work on are a mixed medley, it goes from computer graphics, database management, complaints and resolutions, proposals, typing, team building such as giving giveaways to all of the employees (whatever it takes in order for them to be happy).

I’ve been volunteering for NoBlood since 1997. I’ve known the founder of NoBlood, Larry Eitel, for over 20 years. At the time I was just a wee babe. Now I’m just a babe.

Working with NoBlood is very rewarding. I meet a lot of really nice people who are very talented. We share the same common goals of helping people and educating the world on blood conservation methods. The atmosphere of working for NoBlood is that of a close knit team environment where everyone’s voice counts and is encouraged.

For several years, I used to travel throughout the United States teaching people how to use the various types of software programs along with corporate internal programs. Later, I was asked to work up at Brooklyn Heights, New York by a dear friend of the family who worked in the personnel department, named Dan S. I respectfully declined because at the time I felt that I would get homesick and also at the time I was living in a beautiful home by myself and it was a block from the beach. Later on in life I then realized that I missed out on having a new family, and learning tons of new computer programs. Hindsight is 20/20.

But life to me is very rewarding and each day is a precious gift and I have nothing but hope for the sweet future.

My interests are blowing my money, kayaking, roller blading, writing, teaching, reading, learning new software programs, hiking in a beautiful in a cool green forest and NoBlood.

What I value most in life is a few close friends, my family who I think are the World’s Greatest Family, and most of all my relationship with God.

I have a big fat cat named, Sweetpea. She weighs over 16 pounds and loves to eat popcorn and chase string. Sweetpea is the most loving cat one could ever have. I also love all animals and dream of a day when they will be tame and I can spoil them.

I truly hope to hear about YOU in this forum.
