Augmentin

Augmentin is a nonaddictive prescription penicillin medicine widely used to treat bacterial infections by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. It works by destroying susceptible bacteria, but does not kill viruses. Do not take Augmentin if you are allergic to penicillin, or if you have an infectious disease such as mononucleosis.
