Smile 8 Year anniversary


Today is my 8th anniversary from having ASD repair at age 27.
April 16th I feel good. It's the day I went into battle and came out a winner. Took me 3.5 years but in the end I won. No Blood was used of course!
I went to Abbott NW in Minneapolis. They were great! My home town hospital still isnt' JW friendly. But slowly but surely they are warming up to us.

4 year survivor here! Fontan procedure done when I was 32. Still recovering but I am not done with the battle yet!

Hang in there. I'm not sure what the Fontan procedure is. Learned something new. I'll go do some research on it.

My surgery was 10-17-05.

this surgery was created by a Dr. Fontan. It was created in 1973 the year I was born. That is why my parents (JW) didn't let them "try" it.
