transfusion report


Hi everyone
I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with, I am unable to access a monthly transfusion report for surgery. How has your program access it ? What data are you receiving, We have LIS system and blood transfusion has millienium, I can receive a flat file with every unit dispatched and transfused, I just want surgery?
Also can you share with me the quality outcome indicators you measure

There are different providers for data collection in all hospitals. Ours is Sunquest. They programmed our reports for our hosptial needs. Our data shows all blood products issued by Ordering/Transfusing Location. Our Lab generates this report. Very informative as it gives all locations by total number of blood products for each location. These reports can be programmed to accomodate your hospitals needs. They can include ordering MD, Issuing MD etc..
