Anybody that works with Jehovah's Witnesses and supports no-blood therapy is looked down upon and caused problems by the Medical Board and any other physician, nurse, etc,- related Agencies or Boards BESIDES the Medical Board-Unfortunately, the amount of People that are against Jehovah's Witnesses just because they are Jehovah's Witnesses cause the greatest problems, as they usually whistle-blow just because of the religious angle. Jehovah's Witnesses don't fully appreciate that. Many figure once You get a license or certificates and are working with Dr.'s and Nurses, that everything is fine-it is not. Some Jehovah's Witnesses also have a problem with making wise decisions, giving complete medical histories to their caretakers when they aren't healthy or following good medical and health practices and shouldering the responsibility of problems that arise when they don't. It has become dangerous for Anyone with a license to work with Persons that religiously don't believe in Blood. I believe the only reason that Dr's work with no-blood patients is the statistical or funding and referal to others in their group angle. But that is just My opinion based on history and experience.////

Dr Lapin operated on me in 1978, he was a great doctor that really respected JW's. it was such a relief to find a doctor with his compassion. In 1964 my daughter needed open heart surgery, at that time we had no programs to help the witnesses, but Jehovah always provided. Our doctor at the time wanted me to take her to UCLA I refused as we had cases where the children where taken from the parents, I let my needs be known and a sister from a neighboring congregation contacted me, I was put in touch with Dr Cooley in Houston Texas he was willing to do the surgery without blood. My daughter was the first child he operated on without blood she was 11 years old at the time. Surgery was successful, today she is an active witness in her congregation and the mother of 3 children.
