Mesenteric Lymphadenitis
4/9/2008: The definition of the above is given as: Mesenteric lymphadenitis: Inflammation of lymph nodes located in a mesentery or fold of membrane, the peritoneum, in the abdomen, supporting the intestine. Lymphadenitis: An inflammation of lymph nodes, usually near the site of an infection. or infectious lymphadenitis, which is inflammation of lymph nodes associated with and resulting from infectious diseases as diptheria, scarlett fever, etc.
Does anyone have any information about mainly Mesenteric lymphadenitis?
My one question besides that is: Is there any supportive documentation that links childhood scarlett fever with later life mesenteric lymphadenitis? Hope there is someone in the network that has a clue! 21stCentury. end message.
