Question Data on Risks of blood and biological infection?



Hi,
Can anyone offer verfiable data on risks of infection from transfusion and also biologically derived products. I am after clinically sound materials only i.e. not opinion. I do know many products and transfusions carry risk, I seek to understand an answer that will define risk per operation and further to understand which operation/procedure carry the higher risk.....????
