    how to correct a low albumin level?

    dear sir/madam:
    i have an akd, my gfr is 33 and my albuin is 3.3. hw can i correct my low albumin level?

    Sorry, not sure what AKD is? But the simplest way to increase your albumin is related to nutrition. Low albumin levels and pre albumin levels can be related to poor nutrition. Can you increase your green leafy vegetables, organ meats, and supplements? This of course should be done in moderation and as long as it doesn't conflict with any other type of medication...such as anticoagulants, or treatment. The best choice is to consult your primary care provider. Best wishes.
