Thanks Jan Wade
Thanks
I appreciate your skepticism, I'd like to know where the powdered chlorophyll was purchased from, what was the cost and the name of the product I am sorry to hear that your child was given an unwanted blood transfusion, Find out if any neighbouring countries have good healthcare, and who don't have that policy of transfusing children against their will. What is the medical system in France like, is it good? and do they do the same thing? I would criticise anyone trying to sell me powdered chlorophyll unless they have evidence to say it works, there needs to be peer reviewed scientific studies and studies done on people with mild anaemia, moderate and severe anaemia which is stable. Jan B Wade, it is possible chlorophyll, the liquid is of little/no use but it is worth checking as it may offer an alternative to blood in a lot of patients. Right now I wouldn't advocate someone to rely on it to improve their blood counts until it has been tested and I will ask the user who talked about Liquid chlorophyll increasing blood count dramatically about where it was from, some of the clinical details etc to see if I can ascertain the genuineness of it and whether it is worth trying for myself. If the porphyrin like structures in liquid chlorophyll were like blood but contained magnesium instead of iron then liquid chlorophyll could be given with a quantity of iron [ie the quantity of iron associated with the loss of the red blood if that makes any sense say per litre lost]. If it contains menthol it may not/will not be suitable for young children, say not below 3 months for sure but possibly a bit older than that as well. Note: I heard Menthol causes babies to become what was described as Cyanotic [ie blue] which would indicate a low tissue oxygen perfusion [does that make sense, can anyone back it up] someone saying they can provide the evidence if you email them isn't appropriate and that commercial post should be copied and removed [copied so it can be critically analysed] Last edited by Sharon Grant; 03-10-2009 at 10:44 PM. |

regarding hexachlorophene see this link on Wikipedia
Hexachlorophene - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia it is nothing to do with Chlorophyll, it is a chlorine containing compound used as a soap, according to the above link Hexachlorophene appears to be very dangerous, causing seizures, though you should check that link. the structure of chlorophyll is very similar to the porphyrins in blood and hence substitutes for red blood cells, does anyone know how much iron is associated with half a litre of blood what is the average blood levels and the average serum iron levels [when therapeutic] if you lose half a litre of blood, how much iron do you need to supplement with if you take that quantity of iron with chlorophyll liquid that should be the right amount to consume. The RDA is 17mg per day, I take 14mg per day of [I think] Ferrous Fumarate just to buildup my blood after nosebleeds. Thanks Last edited by scottishone; 03-06-2009 at 12:31 PM. Reason: commented on Safety of hexachlorophene [appears to be toxic] |

My experience with chlorophyll and my son..
In 1984, my 2 yr old son was tentatively diagnosed with leukemia by his pediatrician who wanted to admit him to the hospital for blood transfusions. I reminded him that I was a witness and would not allow that..his reply was that he would hospitalize him and treat him, but that when administration found out they would take custody of my son and force a transfusion on him anyway. He suggested that I take him to Texas Children's Hospital...he thought they would be more open minded about it..Then he asked, did we not have any doctors that were witnesses and I said yes, there is a doctor in Houston..so while still in the office I was able to get that doctors number and the pediatrician was able to arrange an appointment for later that day..The pediatrician had taken blood from my son several times that morning and each time he would come back and tell me that his computer must need to be recalibrated and finally he said he was going to take one more sample, because he didn't want to take anymore blood out of him, but use a microscope to determine his blood count.
My husband and I made our appointment with the doctor in Houston, it was determined that my son had pernicious anemia(his digestive system was immature and lacked an enzyme to help break down nutrition into something he could use)He was put on a regimen of liver, folic acid and b12 injections every other day, liquid nutrition, liquid b complex and liquid chlorophyll. He was not to be in contact with anyone outside the immediate family(we were told his immune system was diminished, that he was like the "boy in the bubble" So we came home and started the regimen and it was very successful...the pediatrician called me to find out what kind of treatment he was getting, then called me everyday at 4pm to ask how my son was doing and told me that if at any point i was concerned about his blood count, just bring him right in...no appointment necessary..it wasn't until then that he told me what he couldn't tell me the first day in his office..my son's blood count was about 3-3 1/2 and he had 1/3 of his blood volume..even though he was eating normally..his food would come out just like it went in. I know his recovery cannot be attributed to just one thing, but I think the combination of all....including the chlorophyll saved his life and without one drop of blood. Hope this true story may help someone who may be in similar circumstances. The pediatrician had wanted to hospitalize him and test to see if his bone marrow was reticulating..I feel like if I had let him do that it would proved positive at that time for leukemia and I would have lost my son by misdiagnosis.. |

are chlorophyl tablets just as good?
I don't know...I have just recently been able to find some...just wanting to add to my own personal vitamin regimen...are you having trouble finding the liquid? or dislike the liquid? if the latter is the case maybe you could add it to some vegetable juice like V8....I've had no real personal experience with the tablets..what i recently purchased is capsules...i prefer capsules as sometimes the tablets don't dissolve...that might be one thing to consider in their efficacy...hope this helps
