    What We Do
    Our community investigates, reports, and discusses the latest techniques in transfusion alternatives and appropriate blood management.
    Why We Do It
    To address the medical desirability of reducing or eliminating the use of blood and blood products and provide information for individuals who have religious or other objections to blood transfusion.

    How We Do It
    Our community seeks to achieve this in the following four ways:

    1. Educating by means of a community-built and maintained knowledge base of professional expertise and evidence-based trends.
    2. Collaborating among health care organizations, dedicated professionals and the general public to advance bloodless medicine and blood management strategies.
    3. Assisting individuals to prepare for medical emergencies.
    4. Publicizing by adapting and preparing information for international distribution.

    What You Can Do
    You can participate in this community in any of the following ways:

    • Participating in public and private professional discussions areas.
