NoBlood semi-recovered from drive crash
Only a month after moving to a fresh new dedicated server, the hard drive crashed. Although we have a managed backup service, when it came time to restore/retrieve current data, they only had good data back to September 4th.
As a result, we have moved to another dedicated server at a new ISP. We will be ever more vigilant with maintaining backups. So although we are back online, if you have registered or posted messages after September 4th, please consider re-registering or re-posting. It looks like the Wiki is misbehaving as well. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

It has been a rocky month. Our previous server began to experience data corruption. In the process of recovering from that, we lost about four days of updates. (see first post of this thread) At first I thought that I caused the problem. About a week later the problem occurred again!!! I discovered that in both cases it was due to server hard drive problems. An order was put through to replace the hard drive. Unfortunately the ISP had ‘issues’ with their backup software. As a result, about a week’s worth of updates were lost.
So, I decided to move to another dedicated server… a tedious process complicated by having to piece together files and data from various locations. I am happy to say that NoBlood is back up and running. We sincerely appreciate those of you who take the time to participate. If you registered or posted a message in the past week or so, please verify that your additions are still here. If not, please consider doing it again. I apologize for your inconvenience. Just prior to being temporarily derailed, I was in the process of giving greater exposure to our loyal sponsors. Rather than visitors having to click on a banner to see our sponsors, they can now be seen throughout the website. In the process we have dispensed with our “Pixel Pages” arrangement. Please stop by to visit one of our sponsors TODAY!! If you encounter any errors please do not hesitate to Contact Us. Please also consider following NoBlood on Twitter. It’s easy! Click on twitter.com/noblood. Thank you for your interest and support!
