Outcome Based Reimbursement

Here's a link to a presentation on Outcome Based Reimbursement. OBR rewards ambulatory treatment and screening. After a one year pilot program the Taiwan Bureau of National Health Insurance reported an increase of ambulatory visits per patient and a decrease in ER visits and Patient Admissions (pg 9). The nine month cure rate on TB was ten percent better than the national average (pg 10)
