This is a discussion on Insurance Policy within the Ask a Professional forum; Does anyone know of an insurance company that provides policies for bloodless medicine and surgery?...

There's no need for a special type of health insurance coverage. The various techniques, equipment and medications used to treat a patient without using blood are generally covered by most insurance companies, including Medicare. Noe, if there is a particular hospital in your area that has an established bloodless medicine and surgery program, or if you are seeking medical care from a particular doctor who is well versed in providing such medical care, then you will need to check with them to make sure they accept what ever insurance coverage you have.
