Alternatives to Gamma Globulin

I took my daughter to the doctor for what I thought would be just them telling me that she has Scarlet fever related to strep throat. They told me that it was a possibility that she has Kawasaki disease. I know that the only treatments involve gamma globulin. It isn't 100% that she does have it, but I want as much as I can get, just in case. Please help! Are there any alternatives to gamma globulin

Kawasaki disease (KD) is usually an acute self limiting multi-system vasculitis (vas = blood vessels, itis = inflammation.) This inflammation of of the blood vessels can cause damage, sometimes long lasting. It usually affects children under 4 years of age.

Along with a fever lasting 5 days or more, there also have to be four of the five criteria to determine the diagnosis.

There is an atypical KD that is reported in literature.

As to alternatives and assuming it is a pediatric patient, there may or may not be an alternative. This will depend on your doctors.

Literature suggests that boosting intercellular glutathione helps with inflammatory disease processes. The drug of choice is usually NAC but is contraindicated in pediatric patients. However there is a compound listed in the Physicians Desk Reference that produces the same effect. It is safe and has virtually no side effects so long as there is no problem with milk.

To get your doctors on board, if they would be open to a consult with a Canadian Doctor from McGill, then perhaps it would be possible to consider this option.

Private Text me and I will try to help you make the connection.

You can read more about what glutathione is and does at The Glutathione Disease Cure, Health Wellness, Anti-aging, Natural Cure Resource
