Question Pathogen Inactivation/Reduction

Hi,

This is my first post. I work with a company that makes a pathogen inactiation technology approved and used in Europe. I'm trying to better understand the US market and the slow adoption here.

Is anyone familiar with pathogen inactivation/reduction and if so, what are your thoughts on it i.e. benefits, concerns, reasons why its not approved/used here.

Thanks
