post tonsillectomy secondary haemorrhage in a 7 year old
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to manage a 7 year old child with post tonsillectomy secondary haemorrhage with Haemoglobin of 8g/dl without using blood transfusion.

Post-tonsillectomy hemorrhage
First of all, patient has to go back to the operating room for control of hemorrhage. Tests for coagulation should be done and abnormal ones corrected. If coagulation tests are normal and the bleeders have been stopped, the anemia may be corrected with oral or IV iron.
