Looking for EPO use guidelines/anemia algorithm


Does anyone have a guide for use of EPO, we are having challenges with our hospital making it available for use. Also, any anemia algorithm that you might have would be appreciated. We are requesting revision of our anemia protocols and would like to show that we are requesting only the current standards in the field.

Hi!
I suggest that you visit the National Anemia Action Council at Anemia Symptoms Iron Deficiency Anemia Treatment Research - National Anemia Action Council NAAC. They have diagnostic work-up algorithm and management based on WHO anemia definition, etc. You may also visit SABM | Society for the Advancement of Blood Management.
