My husband was diagnosed with a GBA grade 4. He started protocol avastin, temedor and cpt 11. He also had radiation. His platelets dropped so the protocol was stopped. I asked for remedies to raise the count and was told there was nothing that can be done. The chemo lowers the counts and a waiting period has to happen to bring them up.
So- in may the tumor started to grow back. He had stereotactic radiation and then was given epotodine and avastin. Once again the plateletts dropped to 35000. Stop treatment.
I have found this site which says that sesame oil, shark oil and melatonin my raise the counts. Is this true?
