Endoscopic Approach to FAP (Gardners Syndrome)
I am trying to help a 45yr old male here in Belfast, Northern Ireland who has Familial Abdominal Polyposis (Gardners Syndrome) and a long history of bowel problems. He has been offered a bloodless Whipple procedure approach here in the U.K. but because of the invasive nature of this operation he would prefer to explore the possibility of having individual polyps snipped off by endoscopy. Can anyone point us in the direction of a facility who would consider his case? The patient would be willing to travel to the USA if necessary. We appreciate any comments made.
