40-year-old, male, renal biopsy says immune system disorders caused kidneys damaged.

Prof Dr's suggestions:
3 times of Steroid injections.
Oral drugs to follow in 2 months:
Prednisolone (6 tabs per day for 2 weeks; 5 tabs per day for another 2 weeks)
Endoxan
Losartan
Famotidine
Slow K
Most concern the side effects of Endoxan.
Other than that, my blood pressure and others are normal.

Any other ways to play the same role of it with less side effect?
I am a Hepatitis B carrier over years. Keep checking. No drug needed.
