NoBlood

My husband is faced with by-pass surgery within the next two weeks. We live in San Diego County, California, and we're looking for a surgeon who never uses blood as a crutch in surgery. Many respect our decision, and agree to do the surgery, but when complications set in, they've been know to throw up their hands in favor of a transfusion. This practice is archaic, as bloodless surgery has been performed successfully for the past 3 or 4 decades. My father's heart surgery 30 years ago was performed without blood in Los Angeles. I would appreciate any suggestions and help if any surgeons in San Diego County fit my criteria.
