Question cell saver hospital policy/guidelines

My facility recently purchased a Haemonetics Cell Saver. We have had an inservice for the use...We have no policy or guidelines developed for our facility. Where can I find the policy/guidelines required? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have asked the sales rep and thus far have not received any help in this regard.
