Congenital Diaphragmatic Herniation

Hello Everyone! I am trying to assist a family in need. There is a newborn boy approximately 50 hours old. He has presented with CDH. His intestines have encroached the development of the left lung. The hospital is trying to pursue the ECMO procedure to prepare him for surgery. The family does not want to have him undergo an allogeneic blood transfusion and we are looking for alternative, non-blood treatment to prepare him for surgery. Are there any other known and proven treatments that will provide this family with peace of mind and the child with the best medical care possible?
