Knees and hips replacement.

I have had some bad news this week; I need both hips and both knees replacing. (Osteo arthritis.)
I don't expect any difficulty in finding a surgeon who will do the ops without using blood, but I would like to ask if there is anything I can do to make the whole thing go as smoothly as possible.
How much blood can I expect to lose for each op?
What time gap should there be between procedures and why?
In what order will they be done?
What can I expect the recovery time to be and will there be any restrictions on what I can do? If so, for how long?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to find articles I could read so that I will be well prepared physically and mentally?
I am sixty two years old and in generally good health.
