Bloodless Heart Transplant

A 25 year old Jehovah's Witness female with an enlarged heart and recent incidences of heart failure has been told by her cardiologist that her only chance of survival is a heart transplant. She is a Nevada resident, and has been told medicaid will only cover this procedure in California and New York. If anyone has any suggestions or resources they know of to direct me to in order to help this situation, it would be most appreciated.

Also, HLC has been notified and is involved in providing assistance. I am posing this question with the goal of retrieving info/suggestions that may be commonly overlooked or not considered by people unfamiliar with the subject and scenario.

Thank You

David Bell
