EPO - albumin human vs synthetic

Hello it's my frist post.

I would like to know a lit bit more about EPO. I know that we have drugs like EPO (eprex) that contain albumin human, and exist other that is synthetic, what is the main difference? What is better and why? Do you have some documentation about it?
Sorry if I didnt use correct terms.

There are many name brands none of which are, per say, better than the other. One of the newer products is Aranesp which is a longer lasting EPO. It is produced with and without Albumin. The label tells you which has it and which does not. Albumin is a stabilizer in this case and does not affect the performance of the EPO. In the aranesp another stabilizer is used which is not a blood fraction.

Let me understand a little bit more. If Albumin is stabilizer and we have a synthetic stabilizer, whe should I use albumin and when use synthetic?
Please, if you have some documentation about it I'll apreciate.

Most of us do not have the background to answer your question. This is a matter to take up with Amgen or Ortho Biotech.
