Assisting with ulcerative colitis in a 2 year old

Dr. ***** has tentatively diagnosed ***** a 2 year old child of a Jehovah's Witness to have ulcerative colitis, a form of IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease similar to Crohn's Disease).
The hospital staff has been cooperative in minimizing the frequency and
amounts of blood samples being taken, with the results of the latest
samples taken yesterday showing a hemoglobin level of 9.6, slightly
lower than it was earlier this week due to continued internal bleeding
in her colon as revealed in blood in her stool samples.

We have the latest document from HIS on Gastrointestinal Hemmorhage and Anemia Strategy (chh-E) as well as the references to those articles.
If you have any other suggestions that may prove helpful, please post

Thank you
