This is my first post.

I am a graduate student in the UK, England, investigating how best to advise patients the risks and benefits of having a blood tranfusion and am looking for balanced decision aids for patients that will allow them the opportunity to influence decisioins about their treatment and care, which is connected to informed patient choice and changing clinician behavior.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated - and how evidence based decision-making should be conducted. I what to be able to describe how to involve a patient undergoing an elective operation in the decision to use a blood transfusion or not?
