Hello Everyone,
Wanted to let you know that my hospital, St John Detroit Riverview is closing effectve June 30, 2007. Obviously that means the Bloodless program will be gone as well. It's really too bad because we were just reaccreditted by ABC and administration was very impressed. I hope to be working at the system level or another St John facility.
In the meantime, check out ABC's website at abchq.org we've made some good changes and our primary focus is on standards and accreditation. With the ABC standards I can go to any institution and design a program that is comprehensive and includes blood management.
