Great Book ..well written ..very respectful
This book is not a light read… if you failed chemistry or biology you’re going to be challenged. Its target audience are physicians and surgeons.
I love this one quote from chapter 1 page 21 “It is hoped that transfusion-free medicine becomes the standard of care for any medical or surgical patient. One cannot deny that there are many modalities that have been heavily relied upon in the past, even as it relates to the use of blood, that are now considered archaic and unscientific.”
