We have complications due to possible viral infection with a 12 week old baby. A check of the spinal fluid has been suggested. However, the baby has a lack of enzyme 2911 and therefore will have difficulty in the clotting factor. The parents are Jehovah''s Witnesses and we are trying to find an alternative to plasma being transfused. Novo 7 and cryoprecipitate have been ruled out. Not being medically qualified I am seeking assistance to be able to offer alternatives to the doctors.
Any suggestions please?
