As part of my wife's planned cesarean section on 12th October, it has been suggested that normovolemic hemodilition could be used. Is there any equiptment that should be primed with a non-blood product? What are the risks involved?

This relates to my previous 'thread' regarding Plancenta Previa Type 3B.
