is there anything faster acting than procrit? my wifes hemoglobin is 6.5, up from 5 earlier yesterday. she has a severe infection of both lungs ( Groub A Strep ), and multiple PE's.. shes on a vent, and i need advice...also whats the risk of the infection spreading to the blood or other organs???
