Question Goodpasture's syndrome in 13 yr-old

A 13 yr-old diagnosed with Goodpasture's syndrome has been started on a regimen of methylprednisolone. The proposed further treatment involves plasmapheresis. However, the fear is that the pheresis will deplete her blood of coagulation factors and this will necessitate the transfusion of plasma (FFP). The parents and the girl are refusing FFP transfusion on religious grounds. Does anyone have experience with this scenario, and is there a way that this girl be treated for her disease while avoiding the transfusing of a primary blood component? BTW, her hemoglobin is only 7.5 g/dl.
