help with lympohoma

My 54yr mother was taken to the ER last Sunday morning with a rapid heart beat. They ran blood test to find her hemogobin count at 6.8. She has no enlarged lymph nodes, no enlarge spleen, no other signs? She is getting epogen shots- the max for her body weight on a daily basis. On Friday she had Rituxan. Her white cells are up 1.8 from .08 on Monday, yet her hemoglobin is down 5.5 from 6.5 How long will it be before her hemoglobin will start going up? She is still in the care of the cancer unit at St. Lukes Hospital KCMO.
