An exciting conference at Providence Hospital - Fisher auditorium, Southfield, Michigan will demonstrate the need for vigilance in improving the way we manage blood.
In the rapidly changing environment of blood conservation, education is paramount. New research - scientific evidence as well as clinical experience - has broadened our understanding and ultimately given us a new standard of excellence in patient care. This CME conference will identify issues of blood safety, supply and cost; explain the philosophy and practice of blood conservation; and demonstrate principles and techniques in specialties such as nephrology, gastroenterology and cardiac surgery.
Please join St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital, St. John Providence Hospital, and the Association for Blood Conservation (ABC) on Saturday May 15th for a day of learning as we strive to keep pace with blood conservation strategies.
