For those without a medical background may I recommend the book, "Your Body Your Choice." By Shannon Farmer and David Webb. It is what it says on the cover; "The layman's complete guide to bloodless medicine and surgery."
In the Appendix it has a list of Bloodless surgery centers worldwide and also has a very useful Glossary and a list of Bloodless medicine and surgery strategies.
