thanks for your response. you can view further details in our post under new members. ANy information would be grateful. We have contacted THI and they are reluctant to do this one at this point in time. I understand they have performed 20 or so bloodless heart transplants but no reoperations. The blood loss is much higher due to adhesions. Our research indicates this type of operation has not been done anywhere in the world so looks like new ground needs to be broken. I know there has been some real advances in bloodless technology recently so we are keeping a positive view.
